Laura + Melissa: Fort Langley Photo Exchange Session

Saturday morning I had the chance to meet up with a couple other photographers, Laura and Melissa.  We spent the morning taking photos of each other!  We met up for coffee at The Village Coffee and Tea Co. in Fort Langley and then walked around to find some good locations.

First to model was Laura Jensen from Laura-Anne Photography.   I love her outfit, her cardigan is one of my favorite colors. :)  And.... can't get enough of her gorgeous eyes!  Laura braved the train tracks as well for some great shots! It was great meeting you, Laura! and looking forward to meeting up again in the future!!! :)

Here's just a couple behind the scenes shots while Laura was shooting Melissa... :)

Next up was Melissa Page of Melissa Page Photo Art!  Melissa is expecting TWINS... and they will be arriving very soon!   I can't wait to see them. :)  You may recognize Melissa from some "behind the scenes" shots I've posted here and there... she's second shot a couple weddings for me (and hopefully will again this year, hint hint!) :)  Well... here is Melissa, gorgeous as always:

Kyle & Julia: Gastown Engagement Session

This engagement session was  a lot of fun.  I met up with Kyle & Julia outside Starbucks in the heart of Gastown in Vancouver, BC.  There are so many fantastic spots in Gastown for photos, I love the buildings, brick and of course you have to take a shot with the steam clock!

Kyle and Julia have known each other since grade 6... then they started dating after high school.   From spending a few minutes with these two, you'll  figure out that they have a blast together.  They love going out, exploring nature, vegging & watchin tv and "being goofy no matter where we are and having a blast.".  Definitely a great motto for everyday!  We started off at Starbucks... which suits them perfectly, since Kyle proposed to Julia at a Starbucks! :)

Check out their gorgeous photos!  I can't wait to see them on their wedding day as bride and groom in June! :)
Julia & Kyle, you are adorable!  Looking forward to your June wedding!

Big thanks to my husband, Steve... I "dragged" him along to Gastown for the session and he carried camera bags, purses, umbrellas and starbucks for a couple hours!  His arm was numb later! So... I had to say THANKS in writing :)

WeddObsessed: Featured!

Super excited to share that WeddObsessed.com has featured some photos from one of my Trash the Dress shoot on their blog today!  (Thanks!)

This Trash the Dress shoot was actually shot at the end of 2010... so we're going way back!  (This was even shot on my first camera!) Thanks to Two Bright Lights for this feature... I think it was submitted a while ago and WeddObsessed still picked it up and wanted to publish it, so that's fantastic!   It was a Trash the Dress shoot I organized with a few other photographers that took place in Fort Langley.

Head on over to WeddObsessed and check out the feature!  A couple of the ladies from the shoot are shown in the photos that were chosen for the publication!

Mike & Jessica: Abbotsford Engagement Session

I'm super excited to post Mike & Jess' engagement session!  I love the locations that they found in Abbotsford... both locations are on the Discovery Trail that runs through Abbotsford.  I believe the second spot we headed to was at Ellwood Park (with the pond).  Thankfully the rain held off, it was a bit cold, but these two still did great!

Looking forward to shooting their wedding in August!
