PMD Workshop: SFU Burnaby

Paul from PMD Photography recently held a FREE workshop at the SFU Campus in Burnaby.  I attended the free workshop with a couple friends (Bianca of Bianca Henderson Photography) & Jackie from Dancing Dandelions Photography).  Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time seeing how Paul sets up his off camera flashes for various shots.  We even had a chance to see a bit of how he edits and his post processing methods.  All in all it was good.  Jackie even won a camera bag in the raffle! :)

Weekend in Sooke: Personal

June was so jammed packed with back to back weddings and portrait sessions that I was so excited when it finally came to having a few days off!

A couple weeks ago, my husband and I spent the weekend in Sooke, on Vancouver Island.   I won a 2 night stay at the new Prestige Oceanfront Hotel & Resort in Sooke!
The Prestige Hotel opened up in April 2011, so everything was like new.

Sooke is beautiful!  We enjoyed exploring a couple different local beaches (China Beach, Mystic Beach) and walking around town.  Here's a few photos from our weekend adventure...  It starts off with our ferry ride to Swartz Bay, a bunch of photos of the hotel and our hike at China Beach and Mystic Beach/Wolfe Creek (suspension bridge).

Cromb Family: Langley Family Session

Here's a post that includes a cutie!  Hudson is Jeff & Darline's son and he was all smiles for their family session on Saturday.  We took photos in their beautiful backyard!  Hudson was great, crawling everywhere, we spent a lot of time trying to keep up with him! :)
