Brian & Grace: Capilano Suspension Bridge Wedding

I've stayed up way too late to post this wedding, but I really couldn't wait!  Here's Brian & Grace's wedding at Capilano Suspension Bridge!  I just want to say that Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is an AMAZING venue to take photos at.  The bridge, trees, pathways, there was an endless amount of choices for different shots.


I had the privilege of having a 2nd and a 3rd shooter for this wedding (Yay for Bianca & Melissa!).  It was great to have both of you ladies help out, and I enjoyed shooting with you both!  We all instantly fell in love with Mulan when we met her; Mulan is Grace's dog who was part of the ceremony and wedding photos!  The bridesmaid's dresses were gorgeous, the orange colour was stunning in the dark greenery of the park!  The ladies also brought orange parasols along to match their dresses.

Bleu Loves: Image of the Week!

Big THANK YOU to Borrowed & Bleu!  They featured Lena's trash the dress session in Fort Langley a couple days ago and today one of the images has been picked as the "Image of the Week"!

Borrowed & Bleu: Featured!

Last minute post as I head onto the BC Ferry!  Haha... I'm heading over to Vancouver Island with my husband to spend a weekend in Sooke when I checked my iPhone and found out that Lena's trash the dress shoot in Fort Langley is featured today on Borrowed & Bleu!  I quickly visited the link to see the photos on my tiny iPhone screen... love the shots they picked!

Well... I will restrain myself from checking my email and the internet the rest of the weekend... time for a holiday! :)

Wedding Obsession: Featured!

Super exciting week!  I have been featured twice this week, two days in a row!  Today Jesse & Alayna's wedding was featured on Wedding Obsession.  They were married the same day as the royal couple, Will & Kate, and this was my first wedding of 2011.  Check out their gorgeous Brock House Wedding on Jericho Beach on Wedding Obsession!

Jesse & Alayna: The Brock House Restaurant Wedding

This past month has been my busiest for weddings & portrait sessions!  I'm swamped in photos and love it.  I started off the wedding season this year with Jesse & Alayna... they were married the same day as Will & Kate!  I was excited after watching the royal wedding early that morning to have my own "royal wedding" couple for the day.  Their wedding was gorgeous, classic and beautiful.  It started with a backyard ceremony under a large oak tree at the Brock House Restaurant overlooking Jericho Beach. (Vancouver, BC).

We took photos around the Brock House and headed down to the beach for more fun shots with the wedding party.  From the beach you can see the city buildings, North Shore mountains and the ocean!   The reception was at the same location and held under a large white tent, complete with chandeliers! 

I loved working with Jesse & Alayna, they are an awesome couple!  They met when they were 18 and 16 years old while working in the kitchen at the Keg.  They love spending time together, hiking and working out as well as trying out new restaurants.

Congratulations Jesse & Alayna... it was an honor to be part of your big day!
