Courtney, Erin, Rachel & Lindsay: Sneak Peek!

Today was so COLD... and it was the Trash the Dress shoot at Elgin Park today.  Yikes!  A few participants backed out, but the rest of us froze and battled the cold! :)


Our day started at my place at 9am... models arrived to do their hair and makeup and get dressed.  Occasionally someone would shudder when they looked out the window and saw the snow flakes falling.
By 11am everyone had arrived and my living room was packed with photographers, models and a lot of props, dresses, clothes and more.
It had already started snowing by the time we arrived at the Heritage Farm, but the models braved the cold in their dresses and we all lasted for a couple hours, with the occasional break running into the heritage house to warm up.


Thank you to all the models who put up with the cold and helped create fabulous photos!  Also a big thanks to the photographers who all came out! (Bianca, Andrea, Alyssa W., Alyssa S., Jacqueline, Shanna, Sarah, Bella, & Kristy).  Looking forward to seeing everyone's photos!  Here's just a few shots from today... more photos will come later this week!

Nicole Bridger Fashion Show: Vancouver Eco Fashion Week

I had the opportunity last night to attend the Nicole Bridger fashion show!  the show was part of the Vancouver ECO Fashion Week and was held in the Salt Building in the Olympic Athlete's Village.  I was able to take along my friend Tonya, and we both were in the same boat - we've never attended any fashion show before!



Thank you to Rachel McHollister for getting us into the show!  I can't imagine how much prep and effort goes into these shows, I saw Rachel all over the place! PS. Rachel, you did an excellent job! Finn: Campbell Valley Park

I photographed the most adorable chocolate lab and his "parents" this morning!  His name is Finn!  They wanted to get some photos while he was still little before he started growing.  We met up this morning and headed out to Campbell Valley Park to take their photos.  Finn is sure a hyper puppy!, but they managed to get him to sit still for a few seconds here and there!

DeHaan Family: Everyday

 Yesterday morning I had the opportunity to take photos of the DeHaan family!    It was great catching up with Kevin & Jordanna... we all graduated together from Fraser Valley Christian High School in 2001! Their 2 children are adorable!  We met in the parking lot by the Barnston Island Ferry and walked around through the industrial area and train tracks.  Here's a few shots from the morning...

This past weekend we had the opportunity to take a walk down at White Rock beach with some of our friends!  My friend Sarah brought her new camera and we had some fun testing it out!
