The beginning of November is busy for us. November 3rd is our wedding anniversary and the following day, November 4th is my birthday! I managed to get married at 23 and the next day turned 24. :)
This year we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by going out for dinner to a little restaurant on the strip at White Rock Beach. Mocha was the "trouble-maker" of the evening, and we discovered he is OBSESSED with flowers. In fact, he eats them, plays with them and knocks them over all over the kitchen floor... and broke the vase too. After a nice big clean up of flowers and glass, we finally made it out the door for dinner.
For my 26th birthday, we celebrated with my parents at Milestones restaurant in South Surrey... so good! All I can say is that November has started off fabulous.
Ok, this post is not really "how to" make a scratching post, but more along the lines of "the making of a scratching post". This is Steve's latest project! My husband is quite handy... (it helps that he is a wood-worker) and he's always creating and working on something.
He made most of the scratching post at his work place, and brought it home to "carpet" it last night. Yes... that's right, we spent Halloween making a cat scratching post. :) Steve will do anything for our new kitty.
I've put together some photos of Steve at work and then some cute shots with the finished results and of course, Mocha.
