Rich & Larissa: Richmond Wedding Preview!

I can't help it... every time I come home from a wedding and back up my photos from the day, I end up editing a few!  So here's tonight's late night sneak peek from Rich and Larissa's wedding!

Congratulations Rich & Larissa on your marriage!  It was fantastic working with you both, your wedding party, family and friends throughout the day.

3D Shoot for the Cure: Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club

I wanted to say a quick hello this Monday evening and give a bit of an update!
This weekend, my husband Steve and I took a break from all things photography... no weddings, no shoots.  Just a weekend full of archery at Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club's 3D Shoot for the Cure.

Last year, Steve and I picked up archery as a hobby and we figured by now we'd be able to shoot our compound bows without losing too many arrows in a 3D shoot. :)  It was a lot of fun (and I only lost one arrow!).

Incase you're not entirely sure what a 3D shoot is... 3D archery is a form of target archery.  (and it's addicting and extremely fun!).  Targets are set along a course, in this case along the nature trails in the woods of Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club.  The challenge is that you have to guess how far the target is yourself... and it can range from 20-50 yards.  

We had a great time, met a lot of new people from the club and received some great advice and tips throughout the weekend from the experts. :)

Meanwhile I'm back to working on the Janzen family's session and getting ready for this weekend's wedding!  Excited to be shooting Rich & Larissa's wedding this Saturday in Richmond!
